The Toronto International Dance Festival is a free event that aims to celebrate an inclusive pluralistic multicultural society through diverse traditions of dance and creativity. By showcasing cultures that form the integral fabric of Canada we are building a community development framework where volunteers and artists come together to network, celebrate and build common ground. The festival is generally attended by over 10,000 people from diverse ethnic and mainstream Canadians with over 60 dance performances. The full day event will offer variety of activities such as talk-shows, press meets, performances, interactive sessions, demos, and workshops.
